Concrete Two-Tone is the second two-tone piece, but done out of doors, this unrealistic object on the Netherlands landscape that was destined to become a highway overpass.

This combination of tones produced a sensitive space which reponded to vehicular noise a mile away, drastically altering the ten beat-per-second "rhythm" of its harmonic field.
